About The Artwork
This watercolor is part of a series titled "Solitaries" that I made as a response to the notion of mass that permeates my work. It comes from a photograph I took in a park in San Francisco called Crissy Fields, very close to the Golden Gate bridge. I am interested in the solitude and singularity of a lonesome tree in the middle of a meadow almost colorless in the fog. The work will be sent securely rolled in a tube.
