Here, a granddaughter in a Burger King crown sits with her grandmother, or Abula, in Spanish, in her apartment. These apartments of the Lower East Side are all but gone now. This is a look at a New York that scarcely exists today. Shot with medium format analog film and a 6x9 camera. It is from a long term project which traces the life of a multigenerational family through the eyes of the youngest daughter.
